Our entire school community congratulates Sharon Bulow on 40 years of service at Mount Marrow State School.
Sharon's teaching journey began in 1980 when she began work as a teacher aide. Back then the school had only 18 students, one teacher, and one classroom. Over the years Sharon has witnessed many changes with the addition of other buildings, classrooms, playground equipment, and an oval. In 2013 a large, multi purpose hall was erected and named after Sharon for her years of dedicated service to the school. Today there are 61 students in 3 classrooms.
Sharon assists in all subjects of the curriculum but her favourite subject is math and she is a stickler for good grammar. One of Sharon's favourite school activities is the annual small schools ball games where she trains with the children every year and is very competitive in the staff and parent's games.
Sharon's passion for teaching and helping shines through as she continues to assist the teaching staff with leading the students on their journey through their schooling.
We are all grateful for Sharon's hard work, dedication and service over the past 40 years. Well done Sharon!
