During COVID-19 restrictions when our students are learning at home there are lots of resources available for both students and parents.
For online video chats and classroom communication we are using Microsoft Teams which is available for free with each student's Office 365 Account. Go to Office.com to download the app to your device or use a browser to access the teams site with the student's EQ credentials.
For some lessons we also use The Learning Place which students will need to log in to with their EQ credentials. We recommend using the latest edition of Google Chrome or Edge for both The Learning Place and for Microsoft Teams.
There are online tools and resources available at learning@home (a Queensland Government website) for a variety of subjects including: math, English, reading, science, wellbeing, and physical activity. There is also a section with helpful advice for parents who are assisting their child with learning at home.
The Queensland Government has partnered with Australian television stations to provide educational television shows across a variety of subjects.
