Welcome to Mount Marrow State School

Moving Mountains

Mount Marrow State School is a small, semirural school west of Ipswich with a maximum enrolment of 70 students.

Our very positive school culture is a direct result of our Mount Marrow Way behaviour program. We believe that students come to school to learn and we have very high expectations of our students with regard to

their behaviour and effort. We support all of our students to be Safe, Responsible and Respectful through a structured program and recognition of positive behaviours. This positive climate allows our focus to remain on
learning throughout the day.

All staff are dedicated and experienced professionals who provide a wonderful learning environment for our students. They work collaboratively and take a keen interest in using high-impact teaching strategies and
maintain high expectations for all students in our inclusive classrooms. Our teachers are role-models of life-long learning as they are continually reflecting upon and refining their knowledge and classroom practice.

We are a school of choice in the local area and are proud of the high standards our students achieve in academic, cultural and sporting pursuits.

I look forward to welcoming you and your family to our wonderful school community and working alongside you as we guide your child is moving mountains every day.
