Students in Year 3-6 have the opportunity to participate in the Ipswich Primary Schools Debating Competition. We currently have a Junior Team for Year 4-5 students and a Senior Team for Year 6 students. Students in Year 3 act in a support role and refine their own skills for the following year. Our debating program is organised by our middle years teacher, Ken Wilson.

Our debating program runs during Term 2 and 3. Students compete locally on 5 Wednesday evenings. 2019 was a very successful year for our debating teams and we look forward to continuing our success in 2020.
