Hi parents and carers of Mount Marrow SS,
Today my kids gave out Pink Buns at school in support of the Bakers Delight and Breast Cancer Network Australia Campaign. I am in the recovery stage of my Breast Cancer Journey and I have been supported by BCNA in many ways since diagnosis. My biggest passion is spreading awareness amongst young women. The rates of Breast Cancer are increasing, with an average of 57 Australians being diagnosed each day. As a nurse and a mother, I want women of all ages to know the importance of self-surveillance and to always be their own health advocate. Men can also be affected so any changes should always be discussed with your Doctor.
Early detection is the Key to survival.
